Susan Baraz Just a fantastic eye and great presentation. There's a cohesion of images and style, which is key to me. Love this! So well done.

Abstraction begins in reality. Capturing architectural abstracts involves pattern recognition; feeling the rhythm of the built environment. Influenced by Piet Mondrian and Mark Roktho, this collection of images presents facades in geometric shapes placed in a non-illusionistic space. The non-objective compositions embrace vibrant colors, light and shadows to create energizing paredolias. My project intent is to seek the essence of the architecture by simplification and fragmentation and encourage viewers to reflect on the psycho-spatial relationship between humans and the built environment.
