Small theater troupes called "Taishu Engeki”(popular drama)are like traveling circus in japan. Their performance style is remarkably unique showing dramas and dances wearing flashy costumes and wigs. They perform at one location for about a month, then pack every thing and move to next location. Wondering where exactly home can be for the people who continuously travel,I tried to find and capture the true faces of behind the stage. However, a thought grew gradually in my mind that for them, life as being actors,their “stage” is really their “home”
