On the plains and foothills of Cincar Mountain, which towers above the town of Livno in western Bosnia, wild horses roam free. There are over 700 hundred of these horses roaming the area, having first appeared in this location almost half a century ago after being abandoned by owners who were increasingly using mechanized means to agriculturally exploit the valleys below. Despite bitterly cold winter winds, attacks by wild animals, and the conflict that raged in the area in the early 1990s, these horses remain self-sufficient, able to feed themselves without need for human intervention

I'm a London based photographer with a love of portraiture, nature, movement and colour. My interest in photography began back in the 80's when I worked in my father's photography business in Ireland. I started my career as a music photographer, but lately I've been focusing more on portraiture, documentary, travel, fine art and contemporary photography.
