Beginning of last year, after the influence of Nino, along the coasts of Chile comes the "Marea roja". Normally the "Marea roja" is an excessive proliferation of microalgae. But this time the environmental disaster is unbelievable. Kilometers of coastline turn into an obituary of inhabitants of the Pacific Ocean. Immediate the protests from artisanal fishermen. They become more and more pressing until they also leave some biological and microbiological investigations. To date the official reasons were not disclosed. The Government has chosen the path of an agreement with fishermen to keep terminate the protests. Fishermen are clearly thinking this disaster dipend on the pollution from intensive farming of salmons. There are rumors of tons of dead fish and sewage spilled into the ocean.

My name is Simone Francescangeli, I'm a self-made visual story teller. I like to relate stories about the human being and his capacities and social implications of his interventions in this world. Until now I brought my camera around in Italy, in Europe, South America and Africa.
