This image was taken in the Chilean Andes. It shows a small turquoise pool inside a salt flat, surrounded by round bubble-like structures that are formed entirely from crystallized salt. For me, it is fascinating because it looks almost surreal — like frozen bubbles beneath ice — and yet it is a completely natural formation. It’s a reminder that nature often creates shapes and patterns more imaginative than any artwork.
My vision is to reveal the fragile beauty of our planet and create awareness of humanity’s footprint. Through my work, I aim to build bridges: between art and environment, beauty and responsibility, distance and closeness. I believe that images have the power to shift perspectives – and to remind us that we are part of the whole.
