This photo was taken at Mount Bromo on Java Island, Indonesia. That night, a sea of clouds formed, enveloping the ground in thick fog. The sky kept alternating between clear and cloudy as I shot from the mountain top. I was shooting during a brief break in the clouds when a large meteor streaked across the sky. I managed to capture it perfectly within the frame, and it was incredibly fortunate to have all the conditions—the Milky Way, the meteor, and the sea of clouds—come together at Mount Bromo.

I am "Hiroki Matsubara", a photographer active on the social networking site “Machubara”. Born in 1994. Photographer based in Gifu Prefecture. He began taking photographs in 2017, capturing a wide range of subjects he loves, including various landscapes and wildlife. He shares his work through social media and photo exhibitions. He is also active in the NFT space, exploring the potential of photography. He has received numerous awards in domestic and international photo contests. He serves as a judge for international photo contests, writes articles, and conducts photo shoots.
