For my birthday I set up my own cake smash in my "birthday suit" for a punny concept. Why should babies' have all the fun? I shot this at f/11 because I wanted everything to be sharp and gritty. I would light the candles and then have very limited time before the candles started burning me with either the flame or the hot wax. It was a very fun set up, but I don't think I would do it again.
