The image shows the Litli Hrutur eruption in Iceland on the Reykjanes peninsula. The eruption is the third one since the peninsula became active again. At that moment the fissure has fully unfolded and spans over one kilometer long from left to right. Humans close to the eruption give a feeling for the size of the fissure.
