Kabusugi are unique cedars that regrow from old stumps, representing a sustainable bond between nature and human stewardship. Multiple trunks soar from a single base—a powerful testament to this harmony. I sought out this mystical, life-affirming forest during a rare fresh snowfall. Using an ultra-wide lens, I captured the fleeting, divine moment when the melting snow cascaded down, seemingly blessing the majestic trees. I hope this photograph conveys the raw strength of nature and the enduring, inherited beauty of the Kabusugi.
