Lake Nakatsuna, shrouded in mist, lies in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Amidst the fog, cherry blossoms in full bloom appeared, their reflections on the lake surface creating a fantastical world. For the Japanese, cherry blossoms are a moment they eagerly await. This photo was taken after the previous day's heavy rain. The gradation of the morning glow and mist creates a space of profound stillness and depth. A beautiful, breathtaking view of Japan.

Megumi MURAKAMI is a Japan-based photographer specializing in Landscape, documentary and event photographer. Driven by an interest in Landscapes shaped by the destruction of nature and coexistence with it, she captures "Descriptions that evoke a sense of connection with nature".
