Photographed at Hakwon Farm in Gochang, this image captures a lone tree rooted in a vast snow-covered field. A heavy snowfall had blanketed the land, yet this single tree bore no snow upon its branches. In that stark contrast, I saw not absence, but a quiet force—the presence of life enduring without grandeur. The tree remains, anchored and whole. In its stillness, solitude reveals itself as strength, and silence holds a quiet conviction. This work is less about landscape than about how being reveals itself in solitude.
