Asifa and Claudia are long-term Croydon residents and drag artists known by their alter egos of Asifa Lahore and Shepherd’s Bush, working and living in the borough. This portrait, inspired by the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, highlights their unique Pakistani and Portuguese heritage while also promoting queer culture in contemporary Britain. It focuses on their intersectionality as people and artists - something that has fused, despite being constantly told that their differences should not merge. It is also a celebration of their 25-year friendship.
