Those days. Society tends to judge or reject people living with mental health issues, prejudging them without pausing to consider the full weight of the problem and their difficult daily lives. With "Those Days," I aim to depict, through a chaotic image, the damage and confusion caused by these mental illnesses to the protagonists themselves and their loved ones, as well as the struggles they must endure because of them, fostering a creative dialogue that transcends the superficial gaze of the detached viewer.
My name is Axel Calvet. I am a professional photographer who has always been fascinated in the creative world of photography. Studying Image (cinema, video, photography) in Barcelona launched my commitment to photography as a career. DO WHAT YOU LOVE! Fashion photography fascinated me from my childhood, so I decided to improve my skills as an assistant to different photographers and later on I consolidated my experience in other photographic disciplines, such as advertising, art and portrait photography. In addition, I have been published in international fashion magazines.
