On the black sand beach of Iceland, I encountered the lifeless body of a whale, resting silently against the dramatic backdrop of Vestrahorn mountain. The dark, moody atmosphere and the faint light breaking through the clouds created a powerful and somber scene — a striking reminder of the fragile balance of nature and the impermanence of life.
