“Homecoming: Roots” is a visual journey through Tamluk, West Bengal, India the place of my ancestry revisited after many years. The series reflects the town’s essence — rituals of faith, the interplay of land and water, vibrant street markets, and quiet alleys where daily life unfolds. More than documentation, it is a rediscovery of place and belonging. With its understated historical significance, Tamluk emerges here not as backdrop but as a living canvas of memory, culture, and everyday grace — a homecoming that reconnects past to present.
