Infrared photography adds a unique dimension to cityscape photography, transforming urban landscapes into captivating, surreal scenes. Capturing wavelengths beyond the visible spectrum reveals hidden tones and details, often producing dreamlike images with glowing foliage, darkened skies, and eerie atmospheres. Infrared photography allows me to reimagine and re-explore my city(Cairo-Egypt), with a certain emphasis on contrasts between natural and built environments,and to create visually striking images that challenge our perceptions of urban landscapes and what we are accustomed to seeing it.
