Let There Be Light Again

Everyone sees photography differently. For me, it is always about capturing light. In Chinese, we often use the word “shiguang” — it carries the sense of both time and light. After all, light is the language of time. If I cannot stop time, then at least I can preserve the light. Light preserves not only what we see, but also what we feel. Each time I look at these images, the memories within me are illuminated once again.
