Three photos, three moments, three feelings, yet each tells its story in its own way. Amid the genuine chaos of Lisbon, with a Pombaline facade in the background and, of course, the bride at the centre of attention, the city shows no sign of slowing down. In a typically Portuguese church, a cinematic moment captures the newlyweds as they pass through, an instant of deep emotion heightened by the tradition surrounding them. On the beach, the bride rests on the sand as the freshness of the sea touches her, in a moment of lightness and introspection, where colours and emotions come together.
I started shooting with my old Nikon F65. Since I was never able to get rid of my equipment, I also have it, kept in my purse and in my memories. 2014 was a turning point. As a photographer for Minimal Photo, I started a bet on training to raise quality. The combined training with a fantastic family that has always supported me has led me to win some international awards that I am proud of, not for the awards themselves, but for making me realize that we always have to try to learn more.
