"Deconstructed" is a self-portrait created through live collage, using printed photos physically altered by hand in a Cubist manner. The image reflects inner conflict shaped by self-criticism and societal beauty standards. Yet through this fragmented process emerged a sense of self-acceptance. The work captures both emotional tension and quiet defiance — a raw, honest moment of seeing oneself from all angles, both fractured and whole.

Veronika Verbitskaya is a Russian-born photographer currently based in Ireland. With a background in music and visual arts, her creative journey has always been deeply connected to nature and shaped by her passion for travel. Over the past decade, Veronika has explored photography as a way to capture the emotional essence of landscapes and fleeting natural phenomena. Since 2022, photography has become the core of her artistic practice, evolving through experimentation with film, self-portraiture, and abstraction.
