"Paper Shelter” is a photo series created during the war in Ukraine (2023–2024). It tells a personal story of growing up in emigration—losing home, school, and familiar surroundings. The work explores adolescence: the urge to hide, loneliness, inner and outer change, uncertainty, and the search for support. It traces a journey from emotional suppression to acceptance, self-awareness, understanding of boundaries, femininity, and desire. In 2024, two friends joined the project, giving it an international voice and exploring themes like “femininity in every man” and “being present in the moment.
