This series was created under the influence of the war in Ukraine in 2022. Through these photographs, I wanted to express the emotions surrounding people who suddenly found themselves in a country where war had begun. About the shock of something that feels unreal, impossible to grasp or accept. Each image speaks about internal states, vulnerability, and the first contact with a new, unfamiliar reality. It’s a visual reflection on fear, disbelief, and the beginning of adaptation to a world that has changed forever.
