Introspection is a process of looking inward to examine one's own thoughts, feelings, judgments and perceptions. It is an important part of the human psyche and gives you access to understanding yourself. Curled-up centipedes symbolise this state in a striking and fascinating way.

I`am a scientist, photographer, and artist from Germany. I have been working intensively with photography for about 15 years. In the course of time, I discovered my passion for the small and inconspicuous things in our world and specialized in artistic close-up and macro photography.
