This abridged edition of 'I wish you would love me again' from late 2024 accompanied my solo exhibition of selected photographs from the series. The book is about North Sacramento, where I currently live and where the exhibition was located. Despite the obvious neglect, blight, and disinvestment depicted in my photographs, local viewers still enjoyed the work and appreciated the story of their troubled environment being told. The show included 7 images printed 4x5ft and mounted on aluminum. I am currently editing the 120 image edition of the book and am hoping to find a publisher this year.

I was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to the United States in 1995. My career in photography began at the Glasgow School of Art in the Fine Art Photography undergraduate program in 1989. Since then I've enjoyed practicing photography in many forms and genres but fine art and documentary work continue to be of greatest interest to me. My current series is titled 'I wish you would love me again' and is a two year fine art / documentary project that has culminated in a 120 image book of the same title.
