This portfolio of black and white and color photographs is part of an ongoing personal work about artists of theatre, mime, aerial acrobatics, dance, object manipulation and clownery, merging circus with street theatre’s improvisation and dance theater. I find very stimulating the confluence of various performing art in performances that innovate the genres of contemporary circus and dance theatre. I like to “breathe” the show, with its dynamics and meanings, trying to get in touch with the artists and bypassing the genre of stage photography, in favor of a vision of photography in itself.
