Book about the wildlife in Amboseli (Kenya), focused on the african elephant. It contains a selection of about 100 photographs, mostly black and white. It was a three years project, and the narrative explains the full process of the project, since the conceptual development of the photograph expeditions, the planning and the implementation on the field. It gives the reader a full insight into this unique experience and describes as well the feelings and impressions from the human perspective, and not only as a photographer. It raises awareness and supports the Maasai community in Kenya.
My name is José Miguel Angulo and I was born in Madrid in 1969. Aerospace engineer and photographer, I developed my professional career in the aviation sector in Spain, The Netherlands and Germany. Fully committed to support the wildlife ecosystem in Africa, I wish to contribute with my photography work to charity projects in the region to protect the wildlife and to support a sustainable development of the local Maasai community in Kenya.
