Underneath Errazuriz Avenue, one of the most important streets of Valparaíso (Chile),between sewers, we find a kind of “mine”.But a recycling mine. The place has been recycling products for sale since the 1980s,when a group of young people, lacking job opportunities and in the midst of the dictatorship of General Pinochet in Chile, took over this space to build what is now almost a camp under the streets of the center of the capital of the port city. More than 50 years after its creation, its founders are still in the place,as well as new family generations have continued with this tradition
