The finding of a box with negatives, a suitcase and an old eight millimeter film leads me to stories unknown to me. I discover a movie in which my parents acted when very young. They are pieces of a past that belongs to them; before my existence. I go through my father’s files. I come across pictures that were never developed. I search for clues. I immersed myself in the lab for a year, diving into an unknown time and, from there on, I take their lives and turn them into fiction; I enter the scene. The use of different techniques, materials and supports is a constant in my projects. I am interested in the fusion of disciplines such as photography, design and installation to explore a state of fragility. The autobiographical often runs through my work through self-portraiture, family archive photographs and the evocation of my own experiences and vulnerability.
