For years I have been taking photographs on the streets trying to disappear like a ghost to tell the story of the ordinary. Streets, people walking by night or day, a car in the rain, real or supposed zombies, subways, trains, sweet misanthropy and moments of canine and human empathy. We need only step back and look at the whole to realize that we are talking about the journey that contains all journeys, life. The dog is a four-legged philosopher who looks at you and is like saying, “Life is what happens to you now and you have to deal with it.”
