This series of portraits is a story about silence, hidden emotions and unspoken thoughts. The woman always remains half-covered: her face is hidden by a hat, turned to the wall, hidden behind a soft toy or dissolved in light. Her colorful dress enlivens the frame, but she herself seems to slip away, leaving only a silhouette, a gesture, a mood. These pictures have a sense of incompleteness. She can be thoughtful, sad, playful or even trying to disappear. Each pose, each cover of the face is her dialogue with herself, with the past, with the one who is looking at her.
