The series explores the contrast between emotional strength and hidden identity. Using photography and digital collage, the artist isolates the female figure in a scarlet red dress—a symbol of passion and vitality—against abstract, geometric backgrounds. The face, concealed by a circle, transforms the subject into a universal archetype, shifting the focus from "who" to "what it feels like." The fusion of rigorous lines and the chromatic explosion of red create a balance between order and dreaminess. The work invites the viewer to look beyond the form and explore the inner self.

Carmelita Iezzi is a freelance photographer and visual artist based in Italy. After graduating in Art School,  Carmelita got her BA in Fine Art Photography and Graphic design at the Poliarte Academy in Italy. She has achieved international recognitions, in 2025/2023 Awarded Bronze PX3 Prix de la Photographie, 2025 3rd Place Budapest Photo Awards, 2021 Bronze TIFA, 2018 Carmelita was honored with the Sony World Photography Award with a work for the project "I am a dreamer", in 2017 "I am a Dreamer" was awarded at Tokyo Foto Awards 1 Place and Gold in Category Fine Art.
