My work comes from the fascination for Japanese culture There is a part of inscrutability that identifies their culture, expecially the female's figure The Western culture builds a narrative that often simplifies or romanticizes this figure, with an image of ethereal beauty This tension between idealization and reality invites deeper reflection, transforming the encounter with this figure into an opportunity to explore not only another culture, but also our own perceptions The result is not an analysis that leads to rational results, but a contemplation of beauty without preconceptions

  Barbara Corsico, born in Turin, qualified architect, works as a professional photographer since 2002 for a wide range of clients, including architects, interior designers, hospitality, retail. She specialises in architectural and interior photography Her international body of work has been commissioned worldwide,from Australia to the United States, via Ireland, where she started her career in photography . During her career she achieved many professional awards Her work features in a vast number of national national and international magazines , she also published some books of interior.
