This photo was taken the moment before a wild Komikami owl shivered in a tree and took off. It is difficult to photograph the owl in the best conditions because it does not show itself when it is windy, and because it is nocturnal, it is often in the dark. After many trips, I succeeded in capturing the moment the owl took flight during a relatively bright time of day.
