In any disastrous era, people in the coast side of Fukushima continue their ancient rituals, Soma Nomaoi for 1000 years. They are praying for the peace of their land. Despite that, we had Tsunami and the nuclear plant explosion in 2011. The landscape has been changing with reconstruction - a new 400-kilometer-long concrete sea wall blocking the ocean view, and 337 square kilometers of abandoned uninhabitable land with radioactive contaminated soil still exists. This project is trying to look at identities, prayer, and the historical ongoing relationship between human-being and the land.
