The seventh month of the lunar calendar is recognized as Taiwanese Ghost Month. For over 163 years, Keelung, the north city of Taiwan, is going to host the entire month of rituals, that constitute “Keelung Ghost Festival". The guide lights rise at the dusk hour, leading the ancestors, souls to come and have the treats prepared by people. Full of great goodwill and understanding reflected in all the details of the rituals. All of it is transformed into the blessing of receiving and leading the birth, also builds the warmth of the two benefits for the dead and living.
