In the series of works «Single Whole» I am investigating the issue of gender and self identification, while in many countries there are repressive laws forbidding public displays of this topic. When depicting a person’s body, I mainly reveal the spiritual state. To convey the spiritual state, I use the language of Fine Art photography from the beginning of the 20th century.

George Mayer is a fine art photographer based in the US. Granted an EB-1 visa for extraordinary ability in 2023, he gained international acclaim after winning the Sony World Photography Awards in 2017 with Light. Shadows. Perfect Woman. His work, marked by psychological depth and minimalist aesthetics, has been exhibited at Photo London, LA Art Show, MIA Fair Milan, and more than 70 shows worldwide.
