Large capitals hit by a pandemic like no other in modern history have been successively locked-down since 2020. Cities have lost their sparkle, people have felt deprived from their social habits. Neighbourhoods such as vibrant Pigalle in Paris used to be places of life, drama and encounters, they were forced into hibernation. This frame is part of Paris Pop series, a creative photographic collage project aiming at restoring colour which has faded for too long in our beloved capitals.

As a visual artist and photographer, my inspiration is intimately connected to my passion for travel. I am lucky to have lived internationally and discovered diverse cultures. This has shaped my photographic expression to an unexpected paradox: the exploration of contrasts between the gentle and abstract beauty lying in Nature, compared to rich and overloaded urban environments.
