An afternoon on a nuclear aircraft carrier. Somewhere in the Mediterranean. As tensions around Ukraine-Russia are palpable in the air. I focus on these warriors and their impressive machines. I think about what aggression means for the living beings. Aggression is a vital impulse of all creatures. In nature, it has its system of checks/balances. But in humans, a disproportionate use of technology - increasing huge distance between actions and effects - made it out of control. Dangerous. Hope comes from the paradox that animals capable of greatest aggression are also most capable of love.
