A red mailbox illuminates this frighteningly cold space. I felt that this post was myself. It continues to work strongly and quietly in this place. I felt this was not despair, but strength.

Taisuke was born in Nagoya, Japan in 1969. After graduating from the Department of Social Science at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, he worked in housing sales and management at a major Japanese housing company. When he was fifty years old, he changed his career to become a photographer to explore art, photography and its philosophy. His main theme is the relationship between himself, people, and society. In his work, he presents a methodology that takes a multifaceted view of human life and society and transforms it into an "Acceptance of impermanence.
