The Tyndall effect is a physical phenomenon studied by the Irish scientist John Tyndall in 1869 that explains how colloidal particles in a solution or gas are visible because they reflect or refract light. When produced, it often leaves excellent photographs and we must be quick to capture them because they last only a few minutes.
