In the period off self isolation, i was looking back at an old photo album, it got me reminiscing about simple childhood food memories, that made my happy as a little kid, an often nostalgic recalling from long past and gone, in this serie i combined them together into a few minimalistic images, with some old kitchen tools that I have found in my grandmother's barn.

Wesley Dombrecht(1979) is a Belgium-based commercial and artistic food photographer, currently best known for his personal photography work and art-series in the ”fine-art / still-life” genre, mostly working around food. Through a graphic approach and elaborately staged compositions, his personal work offers the viewer a different perspective on food – mostly there is an underlying story connected to his series..
