This image is part of a series of pictures I am currently making to convey a sense of transition I am experiencing in my life on an emotional level. I work in three layers, carefully selecting the pictures which make the final image, to create a sense of being in different realities, which accompany my thoughts.

I was born and raised in London, where I read Pure Mathematics at Bedford College, University of London. My interest in photography began after seeing Robert Mapplethorpe“s controversial exhibition at the ICA. Soon it became my passion. Although I worked full-time in the finance sector, I attended numerous evening and online classes in Photography. A few years ago I gave up my full-time work, to set up a studio as a freelance portrait photographer and have time to study towards my photography degree. My area of interest, besides portraiture, is staged and narrative photography.
