Laceration is a project about the dark bloody history of the Black community in the United States. The photo is fully inspired by the photo "Whipped Peter" with the addition of a common motif in my projects being the paint which represents the uncontrollable emotions.

Hmong American born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. Have always been interested in the ability to capture a moment with photography to be able to tell a story and create art with photography.
