Autumn in Rausu, Hokkaido is the season for salmon spawning. Pink salmon go up the river and struggle to give birth to new lives. They came to a small waterfall, but is there enough power to climb the waterfall? It can be understood that most of them are full of bruises and that their lives are scarce.

DAISUKE KURASHIMA was born in Nagano-City, Nagano-Prefecture, Japan. Started scuba diving and underwater photography in 2011. After working for a system engineer for several years, now currently working as an underwater photographer.
