Inspired by Deconstructivism in architecture, my works explore the geometric juxtaposition of various building edifices of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Tokyo. These surfaces contain unifying patterns and elements which create pulsating visual rhythms, facilitate eye movements within the image. Depart from existing reality, these monochromatic architectural abstracts create fragmented and asymmetric compositions independent of time and space. The intricate studies of lines and forms invite viewers to experience the unique spatial relationship of a built environment.
