When my brother died of a cerebral hemorrhage, I felt like my brother was alive. But when I held my brother's hand, I felt that the sense of the hand was not passed on to him. It was my brain, my ago to be alive. What I see forms ago. At the same time, the act of 'watching' is the result of ago. The world we see is different from the real world. Digital photographs consist of a single photo of a number of pixels, but we cannot see them. On the other hand, we naturally feel the depth of the picture in surface.

kimnayeon was born in Seoul in 1994 and studied sculpture as a student. She majored in photography at the university and participated in several group exhibitions. She is now studying for a master's degree at Chung-Ang University.?kimnayeon wants to reveal things that have become dull with familiarity through photos that reveal aspects of her daily life. Her first series wanted to look back on the habitual cognitive processes and make her aware of the self behind the act of "watching."
