My art is the tool that I use to investigate and question the topics that I am interested in. My art is about starting conversations. A woman has to wear many hats in todays society, each hat requires something different from each woman and impacts how woman interact in our world with other people. Each has its own set of expectations and obligations. Each represents a piece of our divided self, with many identities, which is often sliced up neatly. Woman are expected to be a friend, daughter, girlfriend, sister, mother, wife, grandmother, counselor, career woman, student, coach, homemaker.
