This series criticizes modern image of body, its constant and exaggerated celebration. Here artist conciously deforms human body and creates unusual and unnatural context.

Algis Griškevi?ius was born on 1954 in Vilnius. Studied at Vilnius Art Academy from 1980 to 1985. Working as a freelance artist from 1990. Participating in exhibitions from 1986. Arranged 73 personal exhibition and participated in over 100 group exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. In recent years, besides painting Algis is making photography and makes objects from wood, copper and brass. His works have been acquired by: Danish Museum of Photography. Herning, Denmark, The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum New Jersey, USA, Modern Art Centre, Vilnius, Lithuania
