This series captures street scenes in Tokyo and its surrounding cities, where light and shadow quietly shape the everyday. I did not plan these photographs. Each frame was taken as I encountered it—natural light casting long shadows, glancing off sidewalks, and momentarily touching the people who passed by. From morning until dusk, I followed the silent choreography between light and human presence, hoping to reveal a subtle beauty that often goes unnoticed. These are traces of something fleeting yet quietly luminous—encounters with light that last only for a moment, then vanish.

I am a street photographer based in the suburbs of Tokyo. My work focuses on capturing fleeting moments of light and shadow found in everyday life across Tokyo and its surrounding cities. Through my images, I aim to reveal the hidden beauty and quiet stories within ordinary urban landscapes.
