At that altitude, everything feels quiet. The air is thin, the clouds barely shift, and even the light seems to arrive slowly. Just after dawn, Volcán Fuego released a plume into the still morning sky. No roar, no drama, just a steady breath into the cold. I stepped outside and looked up to see it hanging there, perfectly timed, like the volcano had been waiting for someone to notice.
