The area around Halls Gap (Victoria, Australia)was affected by bush fires prior to the 2024 Christmas break. This affected all the tourism businesses. I chose to visit the area and photograph the damage left behind. Even when I was staying there, another bushfire was burning nearby with some area's being covered in smoke. The project was formed to show the before, during and after of the fires. The local wildlife and birds were slowly returning to the area.
